About — Marisa Mann

Marisa Mann is an Illustrator // Designer born in Toledo, OH who is currently working in Columbus, OH. After countless doodles, anime character drawings, and high school art classes, Marisa decided to pursue a BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design where she majored in Illustration and minored in Fine Arts. While she enjoys designing and illustrating books, posters, editorials, and packaging, she also has a newfound love of relief and intaglio printmaking. Her style can be described as heavily line- and shaped-based with a focus on storytelling – especially through portraiture.

Her inspiration comes from a variety of sources including fairytales and other literature, nature, Art Nouveau patterns and posters, the macabre, and the female form.
